“I know now that I have to write. It’s not a choice; it’s a compulsion. Even today there are times when it seems as if I can’t express what I’m feeling any other way but with poetry. These selected poems reflect many of the passages in my life from longing to loving; from leaving to living fully. Thus the title. My poems are so personal and yet the experiences of longing, loving, leaving and living are universal. And so I hope as you read these verses, and we share these experiences, you see your own strength, power and worth reflected in my poetry.”

MARY S. D’AMATO is President of Rx Management (www.rxmgt.com), an international management consulting firm working with clients to build relationships and develop healthy teams and leaders. In addition to consulting, Mary provides holistic executive coaching and teaches a variety of business management seminars. She holds a masters degree in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology. Mary is also the author of the HARP Communications Styles which is a tool for improving communications and relationships, both professional and personal. Mary lives in University City, Missouri where she enjoys her pets, cooking for her friends and writing poetry.
